| Description: | From 25th Annual Weihnachtsfest Website: The Millstadt Sister Cities Organization will sponsor the 25 Annual Weihnachtsfest (German Christmas Festival) On Sunday, December 2, 2018 at St. James Parish Center, 423 West Madison Street, Millstadt, IL
The Craft fair opens at 10:00am and features holiday gifts, hand crafted jewelry, wearing apparel, turned wood bowls, pottery, and decorative items.
A holiday cookie walk will feature home made Christmas cookies including German specialties.
German food (Sauerbraten, bratwurst, schnitzel, potato pancakes, red cabbage, sauerkraut, and strudel) will be served beginning at 11:30am.
St. Nikolaus will arrive in a parade at 12:00 noon in which the civic organizations and businesses are invited to participate. Entertainment will be provided by the Millstadt Community Choir, Waterloo German Band, and the St Louis German Cultural Society Jugendgruppe (youth group) dancers
Santa and Mrs. Claus will be available for children to deliver their Christmas wish lists too!
There is no admission charge. ALLES WILLKOMMEN!!
Proceeds will benefit Millstadt Sister Cities Exchange and other programs with Gross Beiberau, Germany.
