Mark your calendar now for the 2018 Old Town Art Fair!
The Original Old Town Art Fair has been voted America's #1 Art Fair for the 3rd year in a row* and named one of Chicago's favorite festivals!** Come stroll the charming, tree-lined streets of Chicago's historic Old Town Triangle District and enjoy the work of over 250 nationally acclaimed artists, a Garden Walk, Live Music, the Children's Corner, Food & Drink and more!
You'll find an inspiring collection of 2D and 3D Fine Art including Mixed Media, Drawings, Paintings, Photography, Printmaking, Ceramics, Glass, Fiber, Jewelry and works in Metal, Stone and Wood. The Old Town Art Fair features Fine Art – exclusively – and allows only original pieces created by the artists themselves. Reproductions and crafts, among other things, are not permitted.
Each year, artists from across the U.S. and Canada are selected by an independent jury of art professionals. Nearly half of the artists are new, providing an opportunity for different artists to exhibit at this highly sought after event. This allows for rich mix of returning favorites and fresh, new art to discover!
Take a peek into the quaint green spaces that make the Old Town Triangle on Chicago's north side a truly charming and delightful neighborhood. Over 50 gardens will be in bloom and on display in our Garden Walk, many of them private and viewable only during the Art Fair. You'll also discover historical information, fun facts and anecdotes about the homes, architecture, and past and present residents. Who knows, you may even spot a proud gardener in their natural habitat.
Enjoy Live Music - a little Jazz, a little Swing, some Folk, Fusion and Blues. Just the right backdrop for enjoying a bite and a beverage or two, strolling the Fair and hanging out with friends.
Let your kids unleash their inner artist at the Children's Corner! There's fun for the whole family with Eco-Art, Magic Shows, a Mad Scientist and more!
And Eat and Drink! You'll find delicious choices from some of your favorite Old Town restaurants along with Chicago classics. Lobster Rolls, Tacos, Pork Belly, Pizza, Beer, Wine and more!
DONATION:
A Donation of $10 per adult is kindly requested. Children enter free!
