The North Shore Festival of Art at the Westfield Old Orchard Shopping Mall is one of the oldest art fairs in the greater Chicago and suburban area,free and open to the public. Started in 1991 by the Skokie Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the event is hosted on the grounds of the Westfield Old Orchard Mall that attracts over 80,000 people each weekend,showcasing the work of juried artists and artisans such as painting,glass,jewelry,furniture,soap and much more.Attendees can also enjoy a variety of restaurants located within the mall such as Uncle Julio's, Roka Akor, Frontera Tacos, Maggiano's, Shack Shack just to mention few.
