Taste of Theater is a Community Theatre organization created here in Chicago Illinois in 2011. A Taste of Theatre Festival exposes, educates and entertains a diverse audience of professional, intermediate and novice playwrights, thespians and staff members. Playwrights compete by showcasing once scene of their play. Just like movie previews or trailers provide the public with insight about the movie they intend to see, A Taste of Theatre does the same thing for live theater allowing playwrights to give you a "Taste" of their play.

It may have a taste in the title, but this event doesnt dabble. It dives right in to the world of theater. A Taste of Theatre, which takes place in Chicago, is a place where theater aficionados can watch, learn and display their talents. The A Taste of Theatre Festival features performances, seminars, a panel, a keynote presentation and more.
