| Description: | From The Great Highwood Pumpkin Fest Website: The biggest outdoor celebration in the North Shore features nightly jack-o-lantern lightings as Highwood vies for the world record of the most carved pumpkins in one place. Eighth year of this celebration that attracts all ages. Live music, pet costume contest, food and drink vendors, hayrides, pumpkin maze, kids carnival and more. Event attracts 90,000 over a three day period. Small charitable donation to Make-A-Wish Illinois requested to attend.
