| Description: | From Irish Festival Gaelic Park Website: On Memorial Day weekend, Gaelic Park hosts its Annual Irish Fest. You will find a wide variety of great entertainment of over 40 acts performing on 5 stages both indoors and out, unlimited free carnival rides, kids entertainment, free parking, theatre, and dance. There is an Irish pony and dog exhibition as well as a petting zoo. Gaelic football and hurling games are also played on the main pitch during the festival. Throw in shopping, food, refreshments, and over 500 Irish step dancers who compete in the Chicago Feis on both Sunday and Monday and you have Gaelic Park Irish Fest.
