West Fest is an annual street festival in Chicagos West Town Community on Chicago Avenue between Damen Avenue and Wood Street.

What makes West Fest so unique? Since 2004 West Fest stands out from the rest because it is locally planned and managed by the West Town Chamber of Commerce, thus the emphasis is on local offerings and local talent. West Fest features neighborhood retailers and restaurants, fine artists, crafters, and more. The event reflects the eclectic and hip West Town community, and is also known for cutting edge live music.

The West Fest live music stage is booked by Empty Bottle Presents and features cutting edge and diverse original live music. The West Fest DJ Stage showcases high profile local, national, and International DJs with an emphasis on Chicago House with Mark Farina, Jesse De La Pena and Derrick Carter regularly featured.

West Fests Pet Fest and Kid Fest are big draws. Kid Fest takes place on an adjacent street (Wolcott Street) within the fest site and offers quality children and family activities including pony rides, live family friendly music, local theatrical performances, family friendly vendors, games and more. The 2017 activities in the Kid Fest area will exclusively benefit local Talcott Fine Arts and Museum Academy.
