The Lincoln Park Chamber of Commerce and Clark Street Lincoln Park announce the return of Spooktacular, one of Chicago's best family friendly Halloween celebrations, on Sunday, October 30, 2016 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. on Clark Street in Lincoln Park between Armitage and Diversey and the south side of Diversey from Orchard to Lakeview.

Leading up to Spooktacular, Clark Street in Lincoln Park hosts its annual Scarecrows on Parade competition beginning Saturday, October 8. The public is encouraged to vote for their favorites at ********.***. Voters will automatically be entered for a chance to win Spooktacular prizes including gift baskets and certificates from participating Lincoln Park businesses.

SCARECROWS ON PARADE
October 8 - October 31, 2016

Scarecrows will be displayed at participating businesses on Clark Street between Armitage and Diversey, and on the south side of Diversey from Orchard to Lakeview

New this year! Elementary students from the Francis W. Parker School will plan, design, and craft scarecrows to be housed in storefronts along Clark Street in Lincoln Park. Shoppers, diners and strollers on Clark Street will vote for their favorite student scarecrows!

There are four scarecrow voting categories: Spookiest Scarecrow, Most Creative Scarecrow, Funniest Scarecrow and Favorite Student Scarecrow. A complete list of participants will be available at ********.*** beginning October 8. Each scarecrow will be eligible to win in only one category. Voting ends at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 30, and winners will be announced during the Clark Street Spooktacular costume contest (located at 2558 N Clark).


SPOOKTACULAR
October 30th - 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.

Spooktacular attendees will embark on a trick-or-treating trek to participating businesses throughout the community. On Sunday, October 30 visitors to Clark Street in Lincoln Park will load up on tasty treasures, while encountering mesmerizing magicians, jugglers, and scary stilt walkers that will amaze and amuse our costumed revelers throughout their neighborhood tour.

1:00 – 4:00 p.m. Trick-or-treating, magic and roaming entertainment

2:00 – 4:00 p.m. Spooktacular Costume Contest (2558 N. Clark St.)
