Each year, the Palatine Jaycees host Hometown Fest, a Fourth of July celebration which includes fireworks, entertainment, food vendors, parade, carnival, expo and many other family activities. The festival takes place at Community Park located at 262 E. Palatine Road in Palatine. The Palatine Jaycees is a not for profit civic organization dedicated to providing individual development to young people to create positive change.

The Hometown Fest Expo features booth space for local businesses, arts & crafts vendors, and non-profit organizations. Participating in the Hometown Fest Expo will provide your business, organization, goods or crafts exposure to thousands of attendees. There are approximately 25,000 households in the Village of Palatine. The median income of households is approximately $72,510. In addition to attracting residents, Hometown Fest attracts visitors from surrounding cities and towns.
