The dates for the 2016 Old Settlers Celebration have been set! The Country Fair, Car Show, Turtle Race, and Dog Show will take place on Sunday, July 31st. The Queens Parade and coronation will be held on Wednesday, August 3rd. The Kiddie Parade and Big Parade will be on Thursday, August 4th.

Planning for the 2016 celebration will begin Thursday, January 21st, 2016, at 7:00pm. Location of the first meeting will be announced at a later time.

A celebration commemorating the men and women who first traveled west to Illinois and settled in our area, Old Settlers Days includes a variety of contests, exhibits, and entertainment. The festivities include three parades; two pageants; household science exhibits; races; dog, car, and art shows; as well as carnival rides and many delicious food options.
