One of Chicagos most popular celebrations of fall and all things Bavcarian Oktoberfest Chicago at St. Alphonsus returns for its 14th year of seasonal revelry. It takes place both in and outside the iconic church located in Chicago's demographically hot West Lakeview neighborhood.
Adding to the weekend's excitement is Friday's popular craft beer "tasting night" in the parish's German Hall.
Another highlight (in addition to beer, brats, pretzels, and pop/German acts on two music stages) is Sunday afternoon's "Kinderfest" featuring games and other activities for youngsters and families.
