Fiesta del Sol is an annual fundraising event organized by Pilsen Neighbors Community Council (PNCC), a non-profit organization located in the heart of Pilsen in Chicago, IL. The family-friendly festival draws over 1 million visitors during the four day event, every year. Fiesta del Sol is the largest festival in the Midwest, bringing: live entertainment, local art, a variety of food, carnival rides, a childrens area, educational resources for parents and youth, soccer games and much more. Fiesta del Sol is organized by over 200 volunteers, and 6 staff members.

We organize Fiesta del Sol each year because it generates revenue to the Pilsen community, it brings business to local business, it promotes the Pilsen community, provides scholarships to local youth, helps build leadership skills to those who help organize the festival, allows local organizations and schools to fundraise and it generates revenue to help support our work in education reform, civil rights of immigrants universal healthcare, and workforce development and more.

We focus on creating a positive change by empowering our community through Fiesta del Sol!
