| Description: | Bigelos Bistro turned to Kansas Citys Boulevard Brewing Co. to find beers to pair with its upcoming Valentines dinner. The brewerys peppery and dry Tank 7 Farmhouse Ale begins the evening, followed by the limited-edition Saison-Brett paired with roasted poblano peppers and cheese quesadillas. Boulevards Double-Wide IPA matches up with a Mexican jambalaya for the second course. The cherry-infused Bourbon Barrel Quad should be a nice complement to roast pork loin with a chile-cherry reduction and bourbon-cured bacon. A Missouri chocolatier teamed with Boulevard to brew its recently released Chocolate Ale, which Bigelos will pair with dessert. | |||
