| Description: | Crafty Crafters Expo Inc. now in its 10th year showcases handcrafted items for sale, flower creations, handcrafted clothes, hand sewn items, in addition to products and services such as aromatheraphy, bath and body products and services such as massage therapy, reiki, essential oils and blends, incense, candles, aura readings, readers and some retail such as books, CDs, statuary, photography, art prints etc. Admission to public is always free, free parking, free door prizes and free lectures on a variety of subjects. Also each vendor is eligible for special drawing at the Expo for $25 off next booth space. General: It is Crafty Crafters Expo, Inc. policy not to allow the selling of goods or services which are illegal, or which promote the harming of persons or animals. If you are a non-profit organization interested in educating people about your group or cause, please note this fact on the registration form also. We expect everyone to behave in an adult and respectful manner at Crafty Crafters Expo, Inc. events. However, if you become involved in a situation with another Merchant or participant that makes you uncomfortable, please see us or a member of the staff at the registration table. Deadline: Be aware that the merchant registration deadline is posted on the application is must be adhered to. Register early. You may cancell up to application deadline date for that Expo for refund or to apply to another Expo. Refund Policy: In the event that any outside force, beyond the control of the sponsor, such as war, work stoppage, fire, or act of God prevents the Expo from taking place, then the Sponsor reserves the right to retain Exhibitor payments for expense compensation. Booth in building only policy: Locations are pre-assigned by the Merchant coordinator. If you have any special requests, please let us know. Please check with coordinator morning of Expo to see your spot, or look for name sign on the floor, wall or table when you arrive day of Expo. Set Up and Parking: Merchants may begin setting up beginning 8:00 to 10:00 AM. You may unload at entrance, but this is a Fire Lane and so you MUST unload completely. After your vehicle is empty, please move it to the parking area. All clean up and tear down must be completed by 6:30 pm. Security The Event and the Event staff member take no responsibility for the security of merchandise or cash. Insurance/Liability: Exhibitor is financially liable for any damage caused to booths, decorations, or to any product or property. Exhibitor indemnifies Sponsor and show management for any claims and/or suits arising involving exhibitor and any other party, including attendees, employees, guests, other exhibitors, show staff, themselves or any other person at the Expo. This includes but is not limited to injury or property damage claims. Taxes and Local or State Fees: Please note you are responsible for collecting all fees for goods or services and applicable taxes. Crafty Crafters Expo, Inc. bears no responsibility for your services, wares or accounting. Daily Hours: the Expo opens at 10:00 on Sunday and ends at 5 PM. Please do not break down early. You will NOT be invited back, if you do. All Vendors should be ready to display by 9:45 am. Food and Drink: The area has many eateries for lunch or you may bring your own or enjoy a meal in the Holiday Inns Lounge, where you can pre-order and pick up. Power:There are minimal electrical hookups available, state your needs on your application. Directions: 6201 Joliet Road is located off of I-55 North, about 2 miles down the road on the left hand side enter parking lot to Holiday Inn. William Tell Banquets is a side entrance off parking lot. Your confirmation will tell you what room we will be using. | Crafty Crafters Expo, Inc. Sunday, May 23, 2010 Application William Tell Banquets at Holiday Inn 6201 Joliet Rd, Countryside IL 60525 Dear Friends, Spring is here. Dave and I are happy to host the Crafty Crafters Expos which is now our 10th year. We hope to make them as interesting and fun as they have been in the past. Many of you have asked what is accepted at the Expos. The Expos showcase many handcrafters. However we also welcome Fantasy artwork and crafts and photography, Collectibles, New Age products bath and body products, aromatherapy, essential oils and scents, ritual products, candles and services such as Aura Readings, Health screenings, Tuning Folk therapy, Chakra work, Massage, Angel Card Readings, Tarot and Palm reading. The Expos will also be hosting special Expos, such as the one coming up in July. The Expos also allow some retail. As we sell statuary, we also allow books, and music, and resell jewelry, and loose gemstones. Let us hear from you and your suggestions. The Expos have been a place of sharing and networking, therefore Lectures are allowed and encouraged. Please let us know if you are interested in giving one at the Expo. Attached is an application for Crafty Crafters Expo for Sunday May 23, 2010 Expo. Sign up as soon as you can because I will limit certain categories. Remember you can bring your own tables, covers, displays and product to fit in a 10x10 space. We still provide those free cards for advertising at shows or mailing them out. I can also provide you with a flyer, if you prefer, just let me know, so take advantage of this. Vendors are eligible at each Expo for a special drawing for $25 off booth space at the next Expo. Our winner in January was Wandcrafters. We will try to have at least 6 Expos a year. Our next expo will be July 25 and will be a Jewelry and Gemstone Expo. Our last Expos of the year will be in September and finally November. Many thanks for your support over the years and hope that if you are new to the Expos, you will become a regular. We also have space for a lecture, if you wish to give one. You must let us know ahead of time. If you dont have access to view on-line, you will be mailed a copy upon request. Look for name sign on the floor, wall or table when you arrive the day of the Expo. Advertising will be in the Monthly Aspectarian, as well as newspapers, mailing list etc. Please show your support and advertise the show in your website calendars. You may drive your vehicle to the front door of the Banquet hall and unload and move to the parking area immediately after unloading. This is a fire lane and theres NO PARKING OR STANDING. You MUST be ready to open for business by 10:00. The room is down the hallway past reception. You might need a hand cart; the Hall does provide one but are very limited and may be in use. Please come in and check where your spot is prior to unloading. All clean up must be completed by 7:00 pm that evening. Clean-Up Policy Please make sure your space is clean of trash when you leave. If you cant find a box or bin inside, ask us or Management. We want to be invited back, so please follow the rules. William Tell has a restaurant inside the Hall and it also has a Cafe where you can order and take out. Prices are moderate. Power: There are electrical hookups available but you must tell us ahead of time. Electricity provided on first come-first served. You must indicate on your applications! It would be nice if you reciprocate and link back to us on your website. Directions: Easily accessible from I-90 interchange. Located off I-55 North to the East Joliet Road exit. Left hand side of Joliet Road about two miles down the road. Look for the Holiday Inn on your Left, and Large Black buildings (another Banquet Center on the right side of Joliet Road). Make Left into the Holiday Inn parking lot and go around the corner to the William Tell Banquet Hall entrance (6201 Joliet Road, Countryside IL), not the William Tell Restaurant which is on the other side of the Holiday Inn. Look for the car dealership. Thats the parking lot we park in.
