| Description: | Come to the 2st Annual Herb and Garden Show sponsored by The Herbs for Fun and Health Club from Mount Vernon, IL and also Mount Vernon Chamber of Commerce. This is a herb and garden show inside the Times Square Mall with lots of vendors, some garden socieities, and free speakers. One of the best in the area!!!! We will b having Roger Swain from Victory Gardens this year as our main speaker.20th Annual Midwestern Herb and Garden Show starts Friday February 8 to Sunday Feburary 10 at The Times Square Mall in Mount Vernon, Illinois. Hours for Friday and Saturday are 10 to 9 p.m. and Sunday is 12 to 5 p.m. The event is sponsored by Herbs for Health and Fun Club and Mount Vernon Convention and Visitors Bureau which can be contacted at http//midwesternherbandgardenshow. There are over 40 vendors and lots of free seminars. This years keynote speaker is Rob Proctor who is the Horticulture and Artistic Director at Denver Botanic Gardens and also a prolific author, illustrator, photographer, lecturer and columinist. The Featured speaker is Scott Kunst who is owner of Old House Gardens, Americas only mail-order source devoted to heirloom bulbs. Great family event and lots to see.Herb and Garden three day fair in Town Square Mall Friday, Saturday and Sunday with free speakers and lots of garden, herbs, etc, displays and vendors. | |
